Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered in a search form is sent to the third-party company providing those results. Our servers do not retain a copy of that search. When you contact us, we receive the details in your message and use them to respond.
Automatic Technical Data
Standard hosting logs may record an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and time stamps. We review aggregate activity to maintain the service and understand page use. Basic analytics and advertising measurement may also rely on cookies or similar tools.
How Data Is Used
Technical data helps operate the service, diagnose faults, measure traffic, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor assemble individual user profiles.
Privacy on Linked Services
County and state portals, archives, libraries, and outside search services apply their own privacy policies. Information entered after following a link is governed by that destination. Sponsored results are likewise supplied by another company under its own terms.
Who Might See Your Data
The service providers that host and support the site process server logs for us. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. We disclose data when a valid legal process requires it, and not otherwise.
How We Protect Your Data
The site runs over an encrypted connection and logs are kept only as long as the purposes above need them. There are no accounts here, so no password or profile of yours exists on this site to be exposed.
Users Under 18
The site is meant for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your Privacy Choices
Rights to access, correct, or delete website-held personal data depend on where you live and which law applies. Because we retain little, a request generally involves checking contact mail and available logs. Use the Contact page to ask. Records held by Seattle, King County, or Washington agencies remain under the control of their custodians. Washington's Address Confidentiality Program, chapter 40.24 RCW and chapter 434-840 WAC, provides a separate substitute-address process for eligible protected participants.
Updates to This Policy
Any change to this policy will be posted on this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated version.
